Forum - Installation question "How do i find the file that processes the form?" not answered on Help Page.

Well there I was trying to do a PHP install and the question was
"where is that file I need to edit to make this work?" There's a link
in the instructions that leads to the help page, but the question is
not ON the help page.
So... how exactly *DO* I find the file that processes the form? |

To the best of my understanding (and I could well be wrong) I'm not
looking for help with an .html file, I'm trying to find which .php
file I need to edit. I'm unaware of any .html file that will tell me
how to find my needed .php file.
http://www.protectwebform.com/faq is the page that does not answer my
question. Question #3 sounds like it will address my question, but
then talks about .html forms.

The instructions I am attempting to follow tell me to edit a .php
file, not "some_code." I have all the .php code I need to proceed, but
I don't know which .php file to put it in. I'm looking for a
particular .php file in my own software so I can insert the code given
to me by protectwebform. I have no idea which one it is, nor do I know
how to find out which one it is.

I see,

in this case there is web server directive which file to use. e.g. in
apache it is DirectoryIndex
or even there can be some more complicated situation.
You'd better ask someone from support team.
If you can't ask support, you could try to find index.php file, if
this file exists then it is most probably this is the file you are
looking for.
